Hyundai SmartSense
SmartSense encompasses a suite of advanced safety technologies that make driving safer and
more serene.
  • Lane Flowing Assist (LFA)

Should you drift out of the driving lane without signalling, LFA uses audio and visual cues to alert you to the danger. LFA’s camera uses machine vision to monitor the painted lane markings to ensure that the vehicle is driven between the lanes. When necessary, automatic steering correction is applied to keep you safely inside the lane.

Some features illustrated on this page are not available in your market.

  • Blind-spot Collision-avoidance Assist (BCA)

BCA uses radar sensors to continuously monitor both of your blind spots. If a vehicle is detected in the blind spot while the turn signal is flashing, BCA will automatically apply the left or right front brake before you change lanes thus helping you avert an unsafe lane change and a potential collision.

Some features illustrated on this page are not available in your market.

  • Forward Collision-avoidance Assist (FCA) - junction turning

FCA system capabilities have been expanded to include JT, a cutting-edge, preemptive safety feature that reduces the risk of injury and damage by applying the brakes automatically when sensing danger posed by oncoming vehicles during a left-hand turn.

Some features illustrated on this page are not available in your market.

  • Rear Cross-traffic Collision Warning / Rear Cross-traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist

Radar sensors in the rear bumper monitor traffic behind you that is in danger of crossing your path during reverse maneuvers, and if necessary RCCW will apply warning while RCCA provides emergency braking to prevent a collision.
